Do you know how important the trees are? I do. Trees provide us houses, paper, shade, and oxygen. So what would you do with out all of this? Well were not going to have many trees at the rate we are going. In South America there use to be lots of rain forests. Now there are only a few. The people there burn and cut down the trees down to put homes or large factories. America does the same. That makes me mad! The people destroy habitats, shade, and oxygen! There are ways that you can save the TREES. Lets start with paper. You can use the back of a used paper. You can always recycle. Another way is to just plant trees. Plant a tree in your local park, or in you front or backyard. If you really serious you can tie your self to a tree that is about to be cut down. But I don't suggest being that dramatic. Doing the little thing helps a lot.

Another great way to save the trees would be to legalize industrial hemp. 1 acre of hemp produces just as much paper as 4 acres of trees, and hemp only takes a few months to grow, while trees take a lifetime. Hemp is also the greatest source of ethanol known to mankind.(Much better than corn) We could be filling up our cars with that instead of gasoline and get off our dependence on foreign oil. I could go on and on about the environmental and lifestyle benefits of industrial hemp, but this is your blog not mine. -peace-
